Greetings!
Let's assume that you're pretty knowledgeable about all things cosmetic, you're not a makeup artist but you know what color theory is, what undertones are, or what ingredients just aren't complementary to certain skin types. I just described myself, LOL. And like many other beauty mavens out there I'm pretty sure you are the one your friends go to when they're shopping for a new face powder or a new lip gloss, cool, right? But what happens when cool goes wrong?! When that friend is rejecting everything you suggest and you have no patience left to deal.
You would assume that since this individual has asked you to guide them into the right direction that they would at least listen to your ideas, right? Granted, this person may not like everything that you consider the end all be all and that's perfectly fine, different strokes for different folks, but EVERYTHING!? Not only do I find this to be a waste of time for you but also theirs because at a certain point you both will begin to feel like you were only asked to tag along for a play date. You know, to play with different types of products you already have and to explain to your friend what it does....things like that. *deep breath*
I may or may not have had to deal with this type of situation before but I know it happens ALL the time! LOL
Has this happened to you before? Tell me in the comments!
