Greetings!
So lately I've been super lazy when it comes to making a face, usually opting for no eyeshadow or a quick sweep of a color and I'm out the door but lately I've been having the urge to get back into full on color mode. Here's where I introduce these babies....
If you don't remember my first post on Maybelline Color Tattoos click here, since then I think I've gotten all the other colors because they really are easy to use and last on the eyelids! These three were a part of the limited edition four that came out this season along with the other four that I believe can be found at your local drugstores, these for some reason were listed as only being available in Target, guess where I purchased mine from...Walgreen's! LOL
The colors I got were Ready, Set, Green, Test My Teal, and Fuschia Fever.....all so pretty. By the way, don't they already have a lipstick by the name of Fuschia Fever? I think I have that.....lol
Anyway, here are the swatches.
With a good eye primer on the lid these can serve wonderfully as an eye color that usually last for up to eight hours on me, I don't wear them longer than that so that's all I can judge them by. They are really smooth and for some it takes a couple of coats for opacity and some not. For example the green and the teal took two coats and the pink just one swipe. Not a gripe but it should be mentioned.
I really wish that Maybelline would release a black one!
Overall these are awesome and if you can find them in your area, snatch them up, they're about 6 bucks each but make sure to look out for a BOGO sale to get more bang for your buck! :)
Have you tried them before? Tell me what you think.

You know, I have these and haven't used them yet. I tried the blue one out when I was doing my bff's makeup, but I didn't get the color payoff I wanted even after building it up. It just kept moving around. O_o But, I'm going to try it again, maybe I'll use a different primer this time. Because after seeing your swatches I want to wear that green one soon!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing boo!
The fuchsia fever is such a pretty purple!
ReplyDeleteI only own 2 of the Maybelline Color Tattoos. I never got a chance to pick up any of the colors, b/c my Target and Walmart always sell out. I'm loving Fushsia fever, I'm gonna keep an eye out for that one.
ReplyDeletei love these (i think) i haven't used them yet. i wear the heck out of my neutral ones!
ReplyDeleteThey are great for the money you pay. There is a black one. I don't think it's sold in USA. I'm in South Africa, & there's a black one here.
