NARS does it again with another cheek color! With the new
Summer Collection now available I just had to jump at the opportunity of getting my hands on the newest blush addition. It is to my knowledge that this blush is
not limited edition and will be made permanent to the current line. :) When I first read the press release for this collection I knew that I would be getting just this blush because in my mind "burnished apricot" would look just lovely on deeper skin tones and if it didn't, well, that would be a fail. Luckily for me, sight unseen, this blush is gorgeous! See for yourself...

Just as the company describes it, it is a burnished apricot color that reads like the perfect combination of red and orange. This blush is not matte but it might as well be because the slight shimmer that is apparent in the pan isn't so obvious when on the cheeks. Here are swatches....
Isn't it pretty?! At $28 a pop, it better be! NARS is well known for their blushes and this is no exception, the long wearing, luminescent, and pigmented blush truly delivers and will work for a variety of skin tones.
I also wanted to show you what it looks like applied with a blush brush....
In case you did not know, Liberte (with an accent on the e but my laptop does not have French capabilities so this will do, lol) means Freedom. :)
